Throughout November, 13 exceptional venues will offer some 100 shows and performances allowing the public to discover these often lesser-known local cultural centres. Every aspect of performing arts will be in the spotlight, from stand-up and jazz to theatre and song. “Bruxelles sur Scènes” makes its great return.
This fully accessible festival allows the public to spend a month, from 1 to 30 November, discovering the local culture that brings the capital and its quarters to life. Thirteen café-theatres participate in the sixth edition of the festival, offering many original shows.
Following its success, the formula remains the same: each venue provides its usual programme, enhanced for the occasion to reach a new audience. The programme is rich in shows that combine music, humour, theatre and more, all accompanied by a drink or a meal, in friendly, intimate venues.
The French Community Commission (COCOF) and the Brussels tourist agency visit.brussels join forces for the first time to offer the public a pass for €20. Pass-holders (available to purchase at www.bruxellessurscenes.be, the BIP or in participating locations) will be able to enjoy no less than 13 shows (one per participating café-theatre) from the calendar.
