Condemnation & Condolences aren’t merely enough. “To whom we should demand justice in Pakistan?” asks Jamil Maqsood

The people of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, alias Azad Jammu and Kashmir, have become vulnerable in mainland Pakistan.

But why ? Late last night I have received a picture and a message from one of my close friends from my native village back in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir region that a young man who was running a pharmacy business in Gulzar e Quaid Housing society in Garrison City of Pakistan, was shot dead at his business premises.

I have become speechless, stranded and terrified after that message and seeing his picture.

This gruesome murder isn’t merely condemnable. The first thing that comes to my mind. Myself and our Party, UKPNP, and fellow Human Rights activists and defenders cannot remain as silent spectators.

We shall not remain silent limiting our voices only social media campaigns but certainly it will be highlighted at all esteemed forums. On all our behalf.
