EU Today: Jamil Maqsood appointed as Human Rights editor

The EU Today editorial team are proud to announce the arrival onboard of our new Human Rights editor Jamil Maqsood.

Jamil is a long serving human rights activist, with many years experience of working in the EU institutions.

As a Kashmiri, he has had personal experience of repression.

Jamil is an accredited speaker at the United Nations Human Rights Council, where he regularly speaks on diverse human rights issues.
