Invictus Games: Ukrainian Debut Yields Medals

Ukraine is being represented at the Invictus Games for the first time. The competitors are all wounded servicemen, and their sporting achievements never cease to amaze. 

Ukraine's 28-member team are competing in rowing, athletics, cycling, powerlifting, swimming, archery and sitting volleyball. At the time of writing Ukraine's servicemen have an impressive tally of medals in 400m, 1500m, and shot put.

This year’s Invictus Games is being held in Toronto. 550 competitors from 17 nations are taking part. NATO has provided support to the Ukrainian and Afghan teams.
