Coronavirus situation report as of 00.01, March 20th

The World Health Organization (WHO) reports 209,839 cases of coronavirus as of this morning - 8,778 deaths, and 168 countries affected.

Johns Hopkins University has published figures this morning putting the statistics at 244,500 cases and more than 10,000 worldwide deaths, citing WHO and "other sources".
