Flight PS752: Iran refuses to hand over black box from crashed Ukrainian airliner

Iran is refusing to hand over the black box of the crashed Ukraine International Airlines flight PS752 to Boeing, the head of Tehran’s civil aviation organisation was quoted as saying on Wednesday.

Ali Abedzadeh also said it was not clear which country Iran would send the box to so that its data could be analysed, semi-official Mehr news agency has reported.

Ukraine's Tehran embassy initially blamed engine failure but later removed the statement.

Ukraine International Airlines has suspended flights to Tehran indefinitely.
