Putin postpones vote on allowing him to remain in power

Russian President Vladimir Putin has postponed a vote on constitutional change that would allow him to stay in power, because of coronavirus concerns.

The vote - previously scheduled for April 22nd - will be delayed until a "later date".

The proposed changes, which have already been approved by parliament and Russia's constitutional court, include scrapping a ban on allowing him to run for office again, giving him the right to serve two more consecutive terms.
