RAF fighters and U.S. stealth bombers spotted over Kent coast

Royal Air Force F-35 Lightnings, from RAF Marham, have been seen escorting United States Air Force B2 stealth bombers over the coast of Kent, in South East England.

The stealth bombers, which can carry nuclear weapons, and which have a range in excess of 10,000 miles, will be based at RAF Fairford during August and September 2019.

While deployed to the UK the aircraft will conduct a series of training activities in Europe, these activities are long planned.
