The children, who were invited by Kate Middleton, moved the audience with a performance of the Christmas carol Away in a Manger. The Princess of Wales and members of the British royal family once again expressed their solidarity with the people of Ukraine.

According to UK tabloid The Daily Mail, the director of St. Mary’s Ukrainian school, Inna Hryhorovych. also received a letter from the Princess expressing gratitude for the care she provides to the families and children who attend the school.

“What a special honour we had tonight!” reads a statement from St. Mary’s Ukrainian School on Instagram.“Our St Mary’s Ukrainian School Choir had a great pleasure to meet HRH Princess of Wales and receive cheering wishes from her before their performance at the marvellous Westminster Abbey. These memories will be treasured by our children forever.
