The informal ministerial on employment and social policies addresses the continuity in the European social dialogue, guaranteeing social justice in Europe and providing more stability to public policies.

The Spanish Presidency lays on the table, in terms of employment, issues such as the agreement on teleworking and the right to digital disconnection and greater protection for the self-employed. In terms of social issues, the advances in EU care policies are discussed, which seek to change the model towards a community approach and focused on the person. Also, the focus es on the analysis of social investments that generate better results.

During the course of the second working session on Thursday, the European ministers will also discuss state experiences and developments in care policies in the EU.
