U.S. embassy in Kyiv calls out Russian atrocities, praises Ukrainian forces

The US embassy in Ukraine has tweeted that today Russian forces shot and killed 10 people in the northern city of Chernihiv.

They were standing in line for bread, the embassy says.

“The Ukrainian Army is beating the enemy, inflating blows every hour. Russian invaders aren’t happy at all these days. Don’t believe those sowing panic across social media, who claim there’s no army. Our Army is out there. They’ve got all kinds of weapons – Stingers, NLAW anti-tank systems, inflicting losses on the enemy,” Viacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration.
