Belarus bans EU trucks from entering its territory

Belarus has announced a ban on trucks registered in the European Union from entering its territory, Interfax news agency reports.

“Belarus has taken response measures in relation to vehicles registered in the member states of the European Union. A ban on the crossing of the state border of the Eurasian Economic Union in Belarus by motor vehicles (and tractor trailers) registered in the European Union is introduced as of 12 a.m. on April 16, 2022,” the Belarusian Transport Ministry said.
