The convoy that arrived in Kyiv to deploy goods in support of the Ukrainian war effort and affected civilians is one of the largest private donations by now.
Joe De Sena, the CEO and founder of Spartan Race, who was at the centre of this operation, declared:
“This humanitarian mission is showing the rest of the world that when a bully picks on any of us, they’re picking on all of us.”
The aid was welcomed by Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, who said: “Once again, on behalf of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, our troops and all Ukrainians, we thank you very much, we appreciate this very much and will never forget it”.
The commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrsky, said that the mentioned vehicles and equipment will be handed over to the brigades, which in particular are fighting hard battles near the cities of Bakhmut and Soledar in extreme winter conditions.
