Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, had a phone call with National Security Advisor to the President of the United States Jake Sullivan in the framework of the ongoing dialogue with the allies.

Andriy Yermak briefed Jake Sullivan on the current situation on the battlefield and the priority needs of the Ukrainian defence forces.

He dwelled on a recent trip with President Volodymyr Zelensky to the frontline regions: Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Kharkiv regions, where they visited the advanced positions of Ukrainian defenders resisting the Russian aggressor.

According to him, at the meeting with the Head of the State, the soldiers conveyed specific requests regarding weapons and ammunition needed to defend Ukrainian territories from occupiers.

The interlocutors also discussed the preparations for the first Ukrainian-U.S. conference of defense industries slated for December 6-7 in Washington, in accordance with the agreements between President Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. President Joseph Biden.

The head of the Ukrainian President’s Office also talked about the progress of implementing the Ukrainian Peace Formula, including the tenth ambassador-level meeting that took place on Friday at the Boryspil International Airport.

Andriy Yermak expressed gratitude to U.S. President Joseph Biden, his entire team, both houses of the U.S. Congress and the American people for their leadership and strong support of Ukraine in the fight for freedom, independence and against Russian terror.
