Georgia’s National Wine Agency reports that the dynamics of Georgian wine exports are increasing

According to the latest data, 91.4 million litres of wine have been exported from Georgia in 2022. This volume already exceeds the previous record figure of 2021 when 80.5 million litres were exported.

In 2022, wine exports increased by 6.2% year on year. In particular, in January-October of this year, almost $201 million worth of wine was exported from Georgia.

Exports of wine to Russia, traditionally an important market for Georgia, have increased. According to statistics, $129 million worth of wine was exported to Russia in 10 months, compared to $106 million in the corresponding period last year, a significant increase.
