During the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Ministry of Rural Affairs and Infrastructure will arrange a high-level meeting in Stockholm on the topic of how to Accelerate the electrification of transport in Europe (ACCENT).
The meeting is to be held on the 30th to 31st of January 2023. The purpose of the meeting is to identify common opportunities and the need for increased integration of Europe’s energy and transport sectors to enable the increased electrification of all modes of transportation (road, rail, shipping and aviation). The meeting will be attended by Directors-General responsible for transport and energy sectors across the EU.
