On Tuesday December 26th, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky chaired a Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff meeting where they discussed the supply of the Defence and Security Forces and outlined plans for 2024.
“Hundreds of companies are now involved in key production, and I am grateful to every enterprise that provides the desired result for our warriors. 2024 should usher in a significant increase in domestic defence production. Contracts and the budget provided”, – emphasised the President of Ukraine commenting on the results of the meeting.
According to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the production of all types of drones, including FPVs and ammunition, will be given special attention.
“Ukraine must become capable of meeting all the necessary needs for drones”, – he stressed.
The President of Ukraine noted that in addition to the reports of the Ministry of Strategic Industries and the Ministry of Defence, he had heard reports from Commander-in-Chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi and the commanders of the military sectors on the situation at the front, who had made specific statements and outlined specific needs.
