Oleksiy Danilov: Ukraine’s counteroffensive “moves forward every day.”

According to Oleksiy Danilov, the counteroffensive is a complex operation. “If someone thought that it was a cakewalk and that they could achieve their goals very quickly, keep in mind that the enemy has built a powerful defence,” he said, “and that is why the counteroffensive is taking place in such a way as to preserve the lives of our military as much as possible. It is difficult, but every day we are moving forward to liberate the territories,” he added. “We will not stop until we liberate all our land.

Answering a question, the NSDC Secretary noted that as soon as the Ukrainian Armed Forces bring the F-16 aircraft into service, the situation will change.

He also thanked the Western partners for their intention to support Ukraine as long as necessary until we win the victory we consider just. “The United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France and other countries are doing their best to help make this happen as soon as possible,” Oleksiy Danilov said.

The NSDC Secretary emphasised that Ukrainian soldiers “broke all the stereotypes that existed in the West, in particular regarding the Russian army. We will fight for our Ukraine until we win. We have no other way. We cannot put the war on the shoulders of our grandchildren, our children, we must put an end to this war,” he said.
