Tottenham Hotspur finished their 2023 Premier League season with a 3-1 victory over Bournemouth on New Year’s Eve.
Pape Sarr scored the opening goal for Spurs.
The early goal set the tone for the rest of the match, with Tottenham dominating possession and creating numerous chances.
Despite being plagued with injuries, Spurs showed their resilience and determination as they fought off Bournemouth’s attempts to equalise. The visitors had plenty of chances, but the Spurs’s defence held strong.
This victory was a much-needed boost for Spurs, who suffered a 4-2 loss to Brighton earlier in the week.
Spurs remain fifth in the table – three points off top spot and one behind Arsenal in fourth.
