Brussels-based NGO Promote Ukraine will host the pop-up exhibition: ‘State of Defiance’,  dedicated to the Yellow Ribbon civil resistance movement that unites thousands of Ukrainians currently living in occupied regions.

The exhibition tells the story of an underground resistance movement, operating under the regime of terror which Russia is using to brutally suppress any pro-Ukrainian stances.

Created in April 2022 after the Russian military invasion the goal of the movement is informational resistance against the Russian occupiers. In January of this year Yellow Ribbon activists distributed leaflets in the temporarily occupied Crimea, while also calling on residents to join the movement.

Opening: April 12, 12:30 PM.

Location: Outdoor, Station Europe, Place du Luxembourg, Brussels (in front of the European Parliament.)
